Basic methodologies
1- Teacher-centered method.
The teacher-centered methodology is based on the idea that the teacher has the main responsibility in the learning environment. Teachers are in charge of the classroom and direct all activities.

2- Learner centered methods.
The learner -centered methodology is based on the idea that the student has the liberty and independence in the learning environment. student has choice to follow activities of their choice. teacher will play a role of facilitator.
3- Small group Instructions. (SGI)
SGI follows reduced student teacher ratio usually with the groups of 4 -6 students.
4- Project based learning (PBL)
Students learned through making projects and acquire knowledge, critical thinking, research, evaluate, analyze and make decisions.
5- Montessori teaching.
Based on mathedology introduced by Maria Montessori 100 years ago but still effective. In this method, the teacher prepares an ideal classroom environment full of activities that children may pick from to work on.
6- Flipped classroom.
The concept of delivering online lectures that students can view from home to substitute lecturing in the classroom is known as flipped learning.
7- Cooperative learning.
cooperative learning involves a lot of group work. Students work together on a project. It requires a lot of structure and intervention on by the teacher to make learning as effective as possible.
8- Personalized teaching.
This method of teaching responding to each individual learner’s unique needs, strengths, and weaknesses.
9- Inquiry based learning.
It engages students by making real-world connections through exploration and high-level and open ended questioning.
What Is the Best Method of Teaching?
There is no “best” method of teaching.
The bottom line is that each teacher needs to find a teaching style that fits student’s needs, topic, learning environment, curriculum, acquire topic objectives, develop interest in learning, make concepts clear and understandable. So a teacher should well aware of all teaching methodologies and follow all techniques as per requirment to make his her teaching effective, interesting and fun for his students.
